Access to Casa Iris and to your studio or apartment:

The outer door on the street has a smart lock. We will provide you with the code at the begining of the afternoon, the day of your arrival.

To turn on the smart lock screen, leave your finger in the center of the black screen for 1 second, and then enter your code, not forgetting the asterisk "*" at the end. See video below:

If you have hired the parking service, and to park your car, the gates have a lock at their bottom end. You have to remove the lock, and then move the gate by hand. Our parking lot is narrow, hence you must park backward, in reverse mode, and take care to use only 1 space and leave completely free the stone walkway between spaces and of course the concrete slab of your neighbour spaces.

After entering the parking lot, take the walkway on the left to the backyard.

Our mini-studio Vega and Saturn are located down the spiral staircase, on your right.

Our Deluxe studio Luna is at the end of the courtyard.

To get to the second Deluxe studio Sol or to our 3 bedrooms apartment Gaia, go up one floor in the spiral staircase. Sol is located at the end left hand, and Gaia is located around the block on your right.

For Gaia, Sol and Luna, the door counts with a smart lock that will be configurated with the same code as the street code that you already used.

For Saturn and Vega, we will give you the key the day of your arrival. In case you arrive late and you need to make an autonomous check-in, there is a safety box with the key at the side of the studio door. We will provide you with the code for this box on the day of your arrival.

Jacuzzi instructions

To use the jacuzzi, you have to inform us the time at which you would like to start filling the jacuzzi. We will program the activation of the hot water valve at this time, and you will have 1 hour to proceed with the filling (normally it takes about 10-15 minutes to do this filling).

The procedure to fill and use the Jacuzzi is as follows:

1- Close the drain (cover) at the bottom of the Jacuzzi, pressing it with your finger on the chrome circle. At each pressure, this drain closes, or opens, successively. Be careful not to accidentally open it when you are in the tub, which would waste water unnecessarily.

2- Open the hot water valve to the maximum, 1/4 turn. It's the top valve with the red sign.

3- After about 60 seconds, check with your hand that the temperature of the water that comes out is the desired one, and begin to partially open the cold water valve that is located below to have warm water.

4- Repeat this operation after 2mn checking the temperature of the water that comes out, as well as the temperature of the water in the tub.

5- Let the water fill up to the yellow line that is located about 5 cm above the hydromassage jets. This is the correct filling level. When you will enter the tub, the water level will rise until it is close to the level of the overflow.

6- Depending on how many people get into the tub at the same time, it may be necessary to add a little water to reach the maximum level. The overflow (maximum level) is the chrome circle located in the center of the wall opposite the head, about 60 cm from the bottom of the Jacuzzi. When the water reaches this level, it starts to go to waste.

7- You can turn on the hydromassage if you wish, with the button located on the side of the head on the right. When the hydromassage is turned on, at the same time the temperature regulation works at 38°C with an electric heater. You can use a little bath gel to generate foam, which, apart from the taste of the caress of its foam, will allow you to keep the water hot for a longer time.

8- CAUTION: Do not forget to turn off the hydromassage pump when you are no longer using the Jacuzzi and in particular at night before 10 h pm, otherwise the pump could start up again dry the next morning, which would damage it.

We ask you to take great care that you are never wasting water uselessly. It can be wasted via the overflow if it gets too full, but also through the drain which could be inadvertently opened by pressing on it. Queretaro is an arid zone, and it is the responsibility of all of us to take care of the natural resources of our planet. Remember that the Earth is not an inheritance from our parents, but a loan from our children... Thank you for them.

CASA IRIS Rules FOR THE COMFORT OF ALL OUR SMART NOMAD GUESTS

- It is not authorized to organize parties, celebrations, or receive guests, unless previously authorised by written by our administration.

- Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments at Casa Iris. It is authorized only in outdoor areas, previously requesting the people present not to bother them, and collecting cigarette butts. The consumption of psychotropic products or any other that is illegal is not authorized.

- It is strictly forbidden to trespass on the roofs of our neighbors.

- At Casa Iris, the use of energy is 100% solar and therefore renewable, but we ask you to use water responsibly, in particular with the Jacuzzi. Therefore, it is limited to a maximum of 1 daily hot tub fill per group (500 liters). Querétaro is an arid area, like many other places in the country, and therefore, water is scarce. It is our ecological responsibility not to waste this vital resource. Other fillings of the jacuzzi, total or partial, would be charged at an additional 100 pesos each, but we ask you not to use it.

- To respect everyone's sleep, it is requested to keep silence between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m., requesting complete silence between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. After 10 pm, the presence of groups chatting on the roof garden is not authorized, and it is requested to close the windows to avoid the transmission of noise to other guests or our neighbors.

- Pets are unfortunately not allowed in Casa Iris. This is a strict requirement, no matter the size and if the pet is well behave, etc…

- Guests are expected to keep the apartments in a good state of cleanliness. In particular, washing dishes and taking down your garbage before check out is your responsibility. In the outdoor (common) areas, each group has to keep clean and collect their garbage in respect of the other guests with whom these areas are shared, this requirement being particularly mandatory when freeing up the space, and this at any time of the day or night.

- For medium or long-term stays, it is mandatory to hire an additional cleaning service, with a minimum of 2 weekly cleaning services (one per period of 3.5 days at least). It will be confirmed with the guests upon arrival how many services they want. The cost is 150 pesos during the week, and 200 pesos on weekends. This cost may not be included in the rental price unless it is indicated in your contract, with the exception of the deep cleaning service that is done after check out (which is included).

- If you breaks, damages or loses any equipment, accessory, even partially, or if you gets to stain, damage, any garment, sheet, towel, etc ..., the costs associated with its replacement will be charged.

- The apartments are intended for accommodation use. It is possible to use them occasionally for office use, but it must be considered that there may be noise during the day, generated by other guests, or neighbors, or by maintenance or improvement work within the condominio. While it is always about reducing the noise level, silence cannot be guaranteed during typical office hours.

- The use of the space for any commercial activity, including office, is not authorized without prior written authorization from us.

-The 2 terraces and the roof garden are common areas. There is no possibility of being able to reserve. They are areas that guests share when necessary, in the same way that a pool, a jacuzzi, a restaurant or a gym could be shared in a hotel that offers these services.

Furthermore, we remember that Casa Iris has been designed as a Coliving space, where our guests, particularly long-term guests, can share moments of conviviality, so exchanges between our guests are clearly welcome (although not mandatory). In times of pandemic, we recommend, of course, to maintain the barrier gestures in these moments of coexistence.

If there is no desire to share, the first-arriving guest settles in and enjoys the facilities offered, and is expected to share the facility if other guests arrive, and / or free the space after a reasonable time so that the other guests can enjoy the facilities too.

- Check out is at 11h00 and is in person. We will request and ask you to confirm the expected time of your departure the day before for better coordination. Late departures affect our operation and may cause serious inconvenience to the following guests, so we request punctuality for the departure time. In case of late departure not previously authorized in writing, a fee of 300 pesos will be charged after 1 hour of delay, and the value of one night will be charged at the rate of the day of departure after 2 hours of delay. This payment does not in any way give the right to stay one more night, but serves as compensation only. We remember that washing dishes (you can let them dry) and picking up and taking down your garbage before check-out is your responsibility. It is not necessary to do any other cleaning operations, which are our responsibility.
